IHS Retires PropertyMarket ™

In 2002, IHS launched PropertyMarket to provide customers with a comprehensive acquisition and divestitures (A&D) portal for marketing oil and gas assets, farmout lands and prospects. PropertyMarket provided purchasers quick and easy access to evaluate opportunities in their area of interest and sellers broad market exposure for their properties.

With changes in the industry IHS recognizes that PropertyMarket no longer meets the demands required for A&D evaluations and posting. Effective April 2008, PropertyMarket will no longer be available as a layer in AccuMap or via the web.
